Thousands of locals, athletes and coaches brought business to a standstill in Eldoret on Friday while holding a procession for murdered prolific athlete Agnes Tirop. Former world champions Julius Yego (Javelin), Janeth Jepkosgei (800metres), Milcah Chemos (3000m steeplechase), Eunice Sum (800m), three-time London Marathon champion Mary Keitany led from the front.

On Friday October 22nd, thousands of Uasin Gishu residents joined hundreds of athletes and sport coaches in Eldoret Town to mourn fallen Kenyan Star Agnes Tirop. The thousands of people brought the town to a standstill during a procession while holding a big banner with 'End Gender Based Violence' phrase and 'Forever in Our Hearts' with Tirop's two images emblazoned on each side of the banner.
The squad which will represent Kenya in the 2021 Tokyo olympics is finally out after the athletes participated in the trials which ended today June 19 at Kasarani in Nairobi. The event which started on 17th this month saw a number of athletes secure a chance to represent Kenya in Tokyo.
