Mugithi artist Gathee wa Njeri. [Source/Gathee] Popular Kikuyu secular musician Gathee wa Njeri has joined politics and will seek an elective post during August 9 general election. The youthful artist, whose real name is Lawrence Gathee Mwangi, will vie for MCA in Gaturi Ward, Kiharu, Murang'a county.
