The Kenyan Presidential UDA running mate for Doctor Deputy president William Ruto Known has Rigathi Gachagua says he will appeal Thursday's court rulling that ordered him to forfeit sh200 million to the state. Gachagua accused justice Ester Maina of bias in a series of tweets hours after the rulling.He said he has instructed his lawyer to immediately move to court of appeal to stay the orders.
Rigathi Gachagua has today been ordered by the anti-corruption court to surrender 206 million to the state. The judgement read by judge Ester Maina was concluded after ten days of evidence check. Gachagua has responded by claiming that some powerful individuals in government to frustrate him. The running mate to William Ruto is claiming that the decision has been made ten days to the general elections is not right.
