User Former Lamu Governor, Eric Mugo has stepped up push for residents, particularly the youth in Lamu to turnout in large numbers and ensure they register in the ongoing mass voter registration which kicked off a week ago. Mr Mugo who has already declared interest in vying for the Lamu Gubernatorial position on The Service Party (TSP) in the forthcoming 2022 General Elections urged those who have attained the age of 18 years and above to take advantage of the exercise by turning up in large numbers to get registered in the 30-day exercise that target at least 6 to 7 million new voters across the country.

Mr Mugo who deputized Ex-Governor Issa Timamy between 2013 and 2017 says he has all the leadership qualities, having already served the people of Lamu during his five-year tenure as Deputy Governor.
