Mzee Kiprotich Arap Tobon who passed away on November 12 has been laid to rest at his home located in Kaplemeiwet village in Kapsuser ward. A number of Kericho leaders graced the sendoff of the retired police officer who has been described by his MP, Nelson Koech as an informed and witty senior citizen who served the country with dedication during his hay days.

Yesterday a section of members of county assembly accused the county assembly speaker Patrick Mutai for making changes in the house majority leadership without their consent. Speaker Patrick Mutai changed the county assembly majority leader Vincent Korir and majority whip Aaron Rotich without members participation. Led by deputy speaker Eric Bett, the members of county assembly called for the resignation of the assembly speaker for his one- man show.
