Reports by Kenyan.co.ke shows that a woman who has been identified as Scolastica Marada aged 36 years and a mother of five was a brewer of a local liquor called "chang'aa" died on last week on Thursday evening after police officers from Kiminini police station, Trans Nzoia county stormed her house and forcefully took about KSh 30,000 away from her.

The police officers whom are alleged to be from Kiminini Police Station, allegedly stormed into the woman's house whreby they took her purse, which contained estimated KSH 30,000 Kenyan money, after she refused to pay them Sh1,000 as the protection fee.

The cops attached to Kiminini Police line reportedly raided the brewer’s homestead and used force before snatching her purse containing Sh30,000, after she refused to produce Sh1,000 bribery.
