Five Police Officers Badly Wounded in A Suspected Al-Shabaab Attack In Mandera
According to the news reaching our desks this morning, 6th August 2022, a total of five security police officers and agents have been wounded in a suspected Al-Shabaab attack in Mandera county, the notorious gang allegedly attacked the militants while they were on patrol in the southern part of the county.The report filed at the nearest police station, Elwak Police Station stated as, ''It happened today (Thursday) at Bamba Ola stretch along the B9 road between Wargadud and Elwak that a joint patrol security team was sprayed with bullets by suspected Shabaab militants,” Reliable sources indicate that one victims suffered a gunshot injury in his forehead area, fortunately, he received medication in the nearby hospital, the other victims suffered injuries as they jumped out of their vehicles to fight the attackers.The Elwak Police Station vehicle registration number GKB 825, a Toyota Land Cruiser was also damaged after being sprayed with bullets.
One Person Seriously Injured After Their Vehicle Run Over IED in Mandera
Earlier today, avehicle run over improvised explosive device in Banisa and one person was seriously injured along Derkale road after a Landcruiser belonging to a construction firm hitted the bomb planted on the road. The injured was rushed to Elwak refferal hospital where he is now undergoing treatment.

Two Die Instantly After Their Vehicle Runs Over IED In Mandera
Earlier today a matatu from Elwak headed to Mandera was exploded with improvised explosive device along Wargadud Rhamu Road. The vehicle was carrying ten passengers when departed, four women and six men and all of them are family members. It was not the first time such incident been reported in the area, the latest incident was two days ago when the militants bombed the land cruiser belonged to Frontier Construction.
Details Of Medics Missing As Armed Men Ambush Ambulance
Thought al-Shabaab fear based oppressors carjacked a rescue vehicle on Tuesday night, November 1, while it was moving a patient to the Elwak Sub-District Medical clinic in Mandera. As per reports, there were four individuals in the vehicle when the shooters went after them: a paramedic, the driver, the patient, and a family.

The Al Shabaab Militants today in the evening carjacked one of the Mandera County Ambulance which was heading to Elwak Subcounty hospital. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the ambulance was having a patient, medics and other people. According to the reports, four people were in the ambulance during the time of attack.
Two youths killed by an explosive in Mandera
Two teenagers have been killed by an explosive in Mandera. The two reportedly herding their family livestock, came across a metallic device and picked it up which later exploded, killing them on the spot. The two mistook the device for an old metallic tube, according to Mandera Paramount Chief Issack Adawa Edo alias Chief Borow, before it exploded after being hit on a tree by one of the victims.
