An accident occurred in Bergville offramp which involved a bus that crashed off the highway and into the bush.Atleast 10 people died on the spot while 50 others were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.The accident was caused by a blow out of the front wheel tyre and the coach rolled.

The County Government of Busia and Global Implementation Solutions (GIS) have set up Busia County Public Health Emergency Centre where members of the public can have their problems addressed. Today the Ministry of Health headed by Mutahi Kagwe have uploaded on their official Twitter account that 291 additional covid-19 cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours. This is from a sample size of 6,501. The positivity rate stands at 4.5%. So far, 249,725 Kenyans have been confirmed to have contracted the disease since it struck.
