Sources of information reveals that the morning accident has left scores dead after a very deadly accident involving a lorry and a bodaboda operator. Over the past one month, the accident cases have been registered as many of the family friend as and relatives are subjected to mourning die to these casualties. On Thursday evening, a fatal accident was reported along the busy Eldoret-Webuye Highway that claimed unknown number of lives in addition to destruction of property. According to various media reports, the accident happened at Mukhonje Market in Chekalini which is in Lugari constituency of Kakamega County. The incident involved an oil tanker and a matatu leaving several passengers trapped in the PSV.
Devastating accident was witnessed along Eldoret-Webuye road. One person died and two people seriously injured. The accident involved a large truck, Toyota Noah and another vehicle. The truck is said to have rammed into a bump that was erected lately by the Kenya Highways Authority. The driver of the truck lost control after hitting the bump and this led to it going to launch into other vehicles.

The two tankers were allegedly both headed to Webuye before one of the tankers lost control and rammed into another.

A tipper that had abruptly halted was struck by a 14-seater matatu owned by Trippin Sacco early on Sunday morning when it was traveling toward Webuye with an unknown number of passengers.

The morning collision between a 2NK matatu and a truck took place on Sunday January 2 on the busy EldoretWebuye road in Musembe district, near Lugari. A hired 2NK matatu killed eight passengers on the spot after colliding with a parked truck. Kakamega Regional Police Commander Hassan Barua confirmed the incident and said eight people had been killed in the crash, including a 2NK matatu driver.
