Heavy Security Patrol In Goma Border As KDF Soldiers Maintain Peace
Kenya Defence Forces KDF was deployed in the Democratic Republic of Congo a few months ago. This is after the East African Community and other Great Lakes Region leaders agreed on the way forward to bring peace to DRC. M23 rebels started attacks against FARDC in the eastern part of DRC especially in Kivu Province in November 2021 accusing the Government of President Felix Tshisekedi of failing to implement the 2009 peace agreement.
