NASHVILLE SC VS ATLANTA UNITED. Nashville are enjoying a fine campaign thus far and they should have too much for poor travellers Atlanta at Nissan Stadium this Friday. Only New York Red Bulls have managed to best Nashville in 11 starts this term and Gary Smith’s side have been excellent on their own turf, winning four and drawing four from their eight outings at Nissan Stadium.
Money Line Pick Orlando City might just be the most dangerous team in the Eastern Conference right now. They’ve certainly got the least quit in them, winning their recent matches on both good days and bad. Orlando put together one of the most dominant performance we’ve seen from any team this year, beating San Jose 5-0 at home the last time they took the field at Exploria Stadium a week and a half ago.
TORONTO VS ORLANDO CITY. Toronto and Orlando City will cross spears at BMO Field ahead of the 13th round of the MLS. In the Eastern Conference, Toronto is far below expectations because Chris Armas' team still can't find their right rhythm, so they are currently last on the table with only 8 points collected.
PHILADELPHIA UNION VS NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION. New England Revolution are running away with the Eastern Conference and they have a chance to extend their advantage over one of their rivals when Philadelphia Union visit on Sunday. Philly sit third in the standings but have struggled on the road with no wins in their last six games (D4, L2).
Match Preview The Chicago Fire and Toronto need the win to improve their situation, as they occupy the last places in the Eastern Conference. Also, the two teams suffer a very significant football crisis, with several defeats in the last half. In this sense, it is pertinent to highlight that the Chicago Fire still regrets the tough 1-5 against Nashville SC of a few days ago, while Toronto also suffered a devastating fall in this month lost 1-7 against DC United.
Nashville have a game in hand, and still need a surplus of just six points to get to the top of the table. Meanwhile, Atlanta are winless in their past five fixtures in the league, and are especially struggling on the road. Likely, expect a Nashville win this weekend.
NE Revolution vs NY Red Bulls New England Revolution will host New York Red Bull in Matchday ten of the MLS Eastern Conference. The Revolution are currently top of the Eastern Conference and will be looking to extend their winning runs. New York Red Bulls have also won their last two games and they will fancy their chances of pushing the home team.
MINNESOTA UNITED VS PORTLAND TIMBERS. Minnesota United can go back above Portland Timbers in the Eastern Conference playoff race if they beat them for a second time in a month this weekend. The Loons came away from the Pacific Northwest with all three points in late June when an early Adrien Hunou goal was enough to secure a 1-0 road success.
CHICAGO FIRE VS ORLANDO CITY. This is the duel of the Eastern Conference of the MLS League, Chicago Fire has shown some results only in the last 2 rounds. Before that, there were mostly defeats. This team is currently in 12th place in the conference with 8 points.
Columbus Crew and New England Revolution are set to lock horns in the MLS Eastern Conference derby on Saturday at New Crew Stadium. New England Revolution still hold the very top of the Eastern Conference standings but they no longer have the best overall record in the MLS, following a disappointing 2-1 loss at the hands of Dallas.
INTER MIAMI VS NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION. This MLS season for Inter Miami has not brought much good. The last place in the Eastern Conference obscures the overall impression, however, Inter Miami played 11 games, which is less than all other teams. The New England Revolution is coming to this stadium at a very awkward moment.
NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION VS CF MONTREAL. Eastern Conference leaders New England have won five of their six starts at Gillette Stadium this season and they’re backed to fend off Montreal in Massachusetts this Sunday. Revs have recovered well from a run of three games without a victory to win their last two matches without conceding a goal, and those results have established a healthy five point advantage at the top of the table.
NEW YORK CITY VS ATLANTA UNITED. New York City FC have won just one of their last five MLS outings and represent little value at odds-against for their clash against Atlanta United in the early hours of Thursday morning. The Pigeons are around 4/7 to prevail here and that’s far too short based on their recent results, which include two defeats from their last three starts.
INTER MIAMI VS NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION. Eastern Conference leaders New England Revolution ended a three match winless run with a 0-1 success away to Atlanta United on Saturday and they should comfortably back up that victory when they take on strugglers Inter Miami in midweek. After their tremendous start to the campaign, Revs suffered a real dip around the beginning of the month and managed to collect just a single point from their fixtures against Dallas (2-1), Columbus Crew (2-2) and Toronto (2-3).
The Union are placed third in the table, and they also have a great h2h record against this opponent. Meanwhile, the Red Bulls are on a superb run at home, and are consistently scoring goals at this venue. Likely, expect a goal fest this weekend.
TORONTO FC VS CINCINNATI. Toronto and Cincinnati hold the worst defensive records in the Eastern Conference so far this season, so we should see goals at both ends in this Sunday’s clash at Exploria Stadium. Toronto shouldn’t be touched with a barge pole here at odds-on considering they’ve lost four on the spin and gained just five points from their nine starts this season (W1, D2, L6), and Cincinnati look overpriced as a result at 4/1 after earning all seven of their points on the road.
FC DALLAS VS NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION. Top of the Eastern Conference meets bottom of the Western Conference in the early hours of Monday morning as a New England Revolution side in red hot form travel to Texas to face Dallas FC. Revs are flying after five wins from five including a thrilling 3-2 success over New York Red Bulls in midweek and Bruce Arena’s side will head to the Toyota Stadium fully confident that they can keep their winning sequence going.
ORLANDO CITY VS PHILADELPHIA UNION. Orlando City and Philadelphia Union meet in Florida in the early hours of Friday morning in MLS. The Union sit second in the Eastern Conference standings, one place and one point above their hosts. Both sides go into this game in mixed form.
Having topped the MLS table in both Eastern Conference and overall last year, Philadelphia Union will be a favorite to finish in the top this term too. They will host Columbus Crew in the upcoming clash on Thursday, and the latter was the second runners up in the East Conference last season.
INTER MIAMI VS PHILADELPHIA UNION. Inter Miami won 1-2 when these sides met at the start of the season, but Union should fare much better this time around with this Monday’s hosts on a dreadful run of six straight defeats. Inter remain rooted to the foot of the Eastern Conference and overall standings following a 0-5 battering here against New England Revolution on Thursday and the pressure is now surely mounting on boss Phil Neville despite his obvious close ties with club supremo David Beckham.
