News just in indicates that Permanent Secretary for Interior Raymond Omollo's replacement has been named just few days after he was sworn in office. According to the information shared by the Star, Wycliffe Ochiaga has been appointed the acting Managing Director of the Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA) headquartered in the lakeside city of Kisumu taking over from Raymond Omollo who had held the position before his appointment as the PS in the Ministry of Interior and National Coordination by President William Ruto.

Adan Mohamed, a former cabinet secretary for the East African Community and Regional Development, has been appointed by President William Ruto to the President's Council of Economic Advisors. Felix Koskei, President Ruto's chief of staff and head of the public service, also revealed Prof. Vincent Machuki's selection to the same council.
