The DRC is experiencing a moment of perpetual insecurity, with people living in a state of tension due to what is happening in their own country. The M23 rebels are actually giving the army sleepless nights as they continue to attack and fight. It is alleged that Paul Kagame is behind what is happening in DRC.

Despite operating in difficult circumstances, KDF soldiers have made it a habit to go beyond the call of duty and provide humanitarian services to local communities in DRC Congo. From the preliminary reports, In November 2022, Kenyan government deployed the soldiers to DRC to help in restoring calm in the gold-rich country.
