Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi has been dealt a major blow ahead of next year's polls after it emerged that the Luhya unity might split. According to the reports seen by the Star, the birth of another political party in Western Kenya has now put the unity of Luhya community at stake, when it is only few months left to the next General Election.
Formation of political parties and alliances in multipartism Kenya is not a new thing. Most influential leaders and politicians normally shift camp and make their own parties especially once they feel uncomfortable with their party leaders or the direction their parties are headed to. Kenya has seen more political parties since multipartism in 1992.
Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati has come out strongly and denied any links with Democratic Action Party associated with devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa. Speaking during the interview on a Bukusu vernacular Radio Station Sulwe Fm owned by Royal Media Services, Wangamati revealed that he still supports Ford Kenya party.
