Onesmus Safari Ngao, a renowned Taekwondo coach, who defiled a minor and engaged a herbalist to procure abortion has his sentence of a 10-year jail term upheld by the Court. Ngao was jailed in 2018 after the court found him guilty of the heinous act. It was the second time Ngao was attempting to secure his freedom but hit a snag after Court of Appeal judges, Wanjiru Karanja, Daniel Musinga and Stephen Gatembu, in Malindi declined to overturn the sentence that was imposed on him by a Magistrate Court three years ago.
