The Cabinet secretary in charge of tourism Rebecca Malonza has today made her first tour of Rusinga which is in Nyanza for the official launch of a festival that is expected to bring revenue to the County. The cabinet secretary landing in the area aboard a Kenya wildlife services chopper together with her team comprising of several leaders from nyanza and the ministry of tourism.

Tourism and heritage cabinet secretary Penninah Malonza has today hosted Chinese ambassador to Kenya Zhou Pingjian and his team at her office in Nairobi. The Chinese ambassador to Kenya was accompanied by Chinese counselor for culture and tourism Tang Jianjun and third secretary Ye Tianfa in the meeting. Three principal secretaries working in the Tourism ministry were also present in the meeting.
