The ministry of education through CS Magoha today while in kiambu county has officially announced the opening of first revision of 2021/2022 KCSE students who managed to score minimum grade of C+ and above to apply for degree programs in one of the 70 universities. According to CS Magoha 144,466 qualified for degree programs.

The Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) George Magoha has expressed worry and consequently raised concerns over the low number of students who have been enrolled to form one. In this regard, education CS therefore has warned parents against delaying students at home without enrolling them to secondary schools with plans of changing the school that one has he admission letter for.
Education CS Magoha speaking to the press at Kisumu Girls High School on Saturday, 7 said that the government will identify those children who have not reported to form one. Magoha said that the low turnout of students to form is as a result of parents waiting to find other schools to take their children apart from those schools they have been called to.
Education cabinet secretary George Magoha has urged the teacher not to sent form one students home due to lack of school uniforms. Speaking in Nyeri while overseeing form one's admission he said that equal opportunity should be granted to each student as they are being admitted. He added that if a student Is from a low background but is a government sponsored school he or she should be provided with uniform then the cost to be deducted from the school fees.
