It is a big blow to the building bridges initiative as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission confirms that it will not factor in the 70 additional constituencies when revising the boundaries. When appearing before the Senate committee for Justice and legal affairs, the acting IEBC chief executive officer ambassador Marjan Hussein Marjan said that the commission does not have enough time and resources to facilitate further mapping of the additional 70 constituencies as proposed by the building bridges initiative.
