A fifth body discovered in Kijabe Forest has been established to be that of Joseph Njau Ng'endo Njau, a politician who recently sought the Jubilee Party ticket for Member of the County Assembly (MCA) in Njiru Ward. Njau's body was found near the same area where blogger Frank Obegi and two of his friends were discovered - with their bodies badly mutilated on Sunday, June 19.

The body of Njau was recovered not far from where blogger Frank Obegi and two of his friends mutilated bodies were also found on Sunday, June 19 together with the bodies of Moses Nyachae and Elijah Omeke.
Elijah Omeka, Frank Obegi, and Mose Nyachae's groups were discovered in Kijabe Forest on Sunday, June 19, while Fred Obare Mokaya's group was discovered in Magadi. This comes even as police examinations, which Nation Africa is aware of, demonstrate that a baffling lady was utilized by the executioners to draw Obare to his demise.
