John Ogweno was a mid-level manager, when he left the managerial job and joined the National Police Service in 2015. He was also the South Nyanza regional operations manager for Modern Coast bus company for one year before he joined national police service. At the modern coast bus company, he was hardworking agent supervising operations of the Modern Coast routes in Kisii, Migori, Homa Bay and Nyamira counties.
John Ogweno who was allegedly shot by Caroline Kangogo two weeks ago was buried yesterday. He had the title constable, and he had worked at Londiani and Nyagacho Stations in Kericho County before being switched to Nakuru Central post. According to the Standard, the 30-year-old completed his studies at the University of Nairobi whereby he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Statistics at the University of Nairobi between 2010 and 2014.
