High court judge Said Juma Chitembwe has sparked sharp reactions after he finally, agreed that at least Sh770,000 was found in his office when DCI detectives raided the office a few weeks ago. DCI had accused the judge of receiving huge amounts of money from brokers so that he could give court rulings in favour of their clients.
The director of public prosecution and the director of criminal investigation instigated the process that led to the arrest of Judges that is Justice should embody Justice chalulu. The two of them were arrested on charges of receiving bribes in the previous cases and being influenced to make their ruling.
The arrest of judge Chitembwe and Michelule has brought together lawyers who are condemning the DCI officers for implementing such orders without following the right procedure. High court judge Justice Said Juma Chitembwe has narrated how police officers brought a woman to the chambers of a judge's offices with over Ksh 5.5 million. According to him, the police officers used the unidentified lady to bring the money to the offices of his ally and counterpart Justice Aggrey Muchelule.
The two judges Chitembwe and Muchelule are currently in trouble after details emerge that millions of money was in their car during their arrest. According to report given by the police, Police found 57,000 US dollars in the chambers of judges Juma Chitembwe and Aggrey Muchelule during their raid last week the Director of Criminal Investigation said in court papers.

Investigators from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) have stated that $50,000 was recovered from Justice Muchelule's chambers, and $7,000 from Justice Chitembwe following a raid a week ago. $50,000 was c9onfiscated from a woman who was at Muchelule's chamber 230, and another $7,000 from said Chitembwe who facilitated the meeting.
