The Public Finance Management (National Road Toll Fund) Regulations 2021 seeks to establish the National Roads Toll Fund.These toll fees will affect those who own vehicles.They will be required to pay service fee for accessing the highways. The regulations seek to implement the Public Roads Toll Act, Cap 407, which guides the imposition of toll fees on major national roads.The Public Roads Toll Act empowers the Transport Cabinet secretary to declare any road or a portion, including any bridge or tunnel on a public road, as a toll road.

Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced planned road closure that will affect traffic flow along Langata Road and Mombasa Road. Through a public notice issued on Wednesday, November 10, KeNHA informed motorists and other road users that Langata Road will be closed for eight hours.
Four people died and five others seriously injured in a head-on collision along Juja Road, Nairobi County. The October 8 Friday morning crash involved a Nissan matatu and a lorry. The Nissan matatu registration number plate KCT 215T, which had 15 occupants on board, was enroute to Chai Road from Nairobi CBD, whereas the lorry, which had two occupants, was travelling towards Mathare when the accident happened.
