Governor Oparanya Commissions Mumias Modern Bus Park
Governor H.E Dr FCPA Wycliffe Oparanya has commissioned the new Mumias Modern Bus Park in Mumias Municipality that cost Sh185 million. The facility that was funded by the World Bank under the Urban Development Programme in conjunction with the County. The Governor as he thanked the World Bank for funding the facility, commended the Lands, Housing and Urban Development department led by CECM Mr Kulati Wangia, Mumias Municipal leadership and the contractor for the ensuring completion of the project that he added that was the best in the country.

Johnson Sakaja has today chaired his first county cabinet meeting as Nairobi Governor after taking over from former immediate governor Ann Kananu last month. In an effort to speed up service delivery, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya stated on Monday, November 14, that health officials in his administration will have offices in or close to hospitals. Kisumu County Gives Grants to Women to Support Small Businesses and Tuberculosis Awareness
Kisumu County Department of Health has awarded 19 women groups cheques ranging from Ksh 45,000 to Ksh 55,000 in form of grants funded through the Tuberculosis (TB) Reach program in the area. Through the initiative, women from beach areas within the five sub-counties in Kisumu were trained on early TB case detection, prevention, community education, and sensitization.
