KUCCPS opens the 2nd Revision of choices for placement of 32,718 candidates who missed their degree.
Nearly all the 2020 kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Candidates who qualified for degree programmes applied for university placement during the first revision that ended on 11, June 2021. Data from Kenya universities and colleges central placement services (KUCCPS) indicate that out of the142,540 candidates who obtained the minimum university entry mean grade of C+ plus and above 131,833 candidates which is equivalent to 92.5 per cent applied for their preferred courses in local public and private universities and TVETS colleges.

A body which deals with placement of students in colleges and universities has now announced the deadline for course revision of 2020 KCSE students. Some 32,718 students who sat for the KCSE and qualified for the government sponsored universities failed to take part in the revision exercise hence missing out on enrollment.

The body has placed the students in various tertiary institutions depending on their grades. Those who had C+ and above have been placed in various universities while those had below C+ were placed in colleges and other tertiary institutions.
