Source: Business Daily Africa Three Italian companies implicated in the Sh63 billion Arror and Kimwarer dams scam say that power conflicts between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto resulted in the dams' unlawful cancellation. The three Italian companies Cooperativa Muratori & Cementisti -CMC Di Ravenna Societa Cooperativa, Itinera S.P.A, and CMC Di Ravanna- Itinera JV S.C.P.A argues that the tender for the building of the two dams was canceled to derail Dr. Ruto's presidential bid in the 2022 general elections.
