Zakayo Ruth, a resident of Kwamunyanzu village is said to have attacked the woman and her children while they were in their farm.

Zakayo Ruth, a 40-year-old man, has been killed by members of the public after confessing to the hack murders of two of his neighbors' children, aged four and 10. Ruth had been hiding since committing the alleged crime last Thursday. According to Kiomo Chief Benedeta Wamuo, Ruth pleaded with residents to direct him to the chief's homestead, claiming he was starving.
