A police vehicle has been attacked by some unknown assailants leaving two dead and seven others critically injured.

In an ambush by al-Shabab terrorists in the Bambo region of Mandera County, two police officers were killed and ten others were injured. At around 9 a.m., the officers were riding in a lorry from Rhamu to Mandera town when they were ambushed. Witnesses and police say the vehicle was on administrative duties at the time of the incident, as it was also transporting food for policemen on the ground.

A police vehicle had been attacked this morning by unknown assailants leaving two people dead and seven critically injured. According to a report via Modern Kenyan Corps, the incident occurred between Bambo and Jabi in Mandera county where unknown people fired Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) on the police car.

Tension in Bambo as two police cops have been shot dead, 10 injured in a fierce shoot out by al Shabaab militants, Mandera County. The police cops were moving on a lorry heading to Mandera from Rhamu when the shoot out ensued at around 9 am. Witnesses and police revealed that the lorry was on patrol as it was also transporting food for other officers in Mandera when the shoot out happened.
