Mali's President Assimi Goita escaped an attack from a man. The man tried to attack President Assimi at Mali's capital Bamako. The office of the President has said that the man who was armed with a knife lunged at the president in a mosque. President Assimi had joined other worshippers for Eid ul-Adha prayers.
