Azrael, a Christian fighter, has gained notoriety for his efforts to protect Christians in Syria and Iraq from the Islamic State (ISIS). According to reports, he has personally killed over 1,500 ISIS militants in order to protect his fellow believers. Azrael, who prefers to keep his real identity secret, first became involved in the fight against ISIS when he saw firsthand the terror and brutality inflicted upon Christians in the region.
