Political leaders allied to the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance camp have criticized the Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula after ruling that they are the minority in the house. The issue of whether it is Azimio or the Kenya Kwanza Alliance that has the majority MPs has been a topic of discussin for weeks now, with Wetangula stating that Azimio as a political party do not have any MP in the house, further adding that he could not force 14 MPs who had distanced themselves from Azimio to be accounted as members of the Raila Odinga led camp.

Seronei arap Cheison, who vied for Nandi gubernatorial race on ODM ticket in 2017, said they believed Uhuru, the chairman of Azimio Council, would use state machinery at his disposal to make Raila the fifth head of state.

The Azimio Council Secretary General, SG Junet Mohamed has today revealed why the Azimio Team which landed in Nakuru County had to Hurriedly finish their rally at 4pm in one of the Deputy President William Ruto's Rift Valley counties. According to Director of Communications in Orange Democratic Movement, ODM party, the team had to end the rally at 4pm to join the rest of the County in following the Deputy Presidential Debate that started from 5 pm to 10 pm at Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA) in which Martha Karua was one of the participants.
