Bad News to Politicians as Church Warns Against Being Involved With Unclean Money

Archbishop Anthony Muheria of Nyeri has asked politicians to show respect for the church by not using money obtained in the wrong way as a church gift. This followed Uhuru's speech at the Sagana Meeting, in which he accused some churches of accepting funds obtained through corruption.

Archbishop Muheria Urges Politicians To Keep Dirty Money Away From Church

Nyeri Archbishop Anthony Muheria has urged politicians to keep proceeds of corruption away from church donations as the clergy cannot tell where donated money is from once it gets to church. His sentiments coming just a week after President Uhuru Kenyatta, during the Sagana meeting, accused some churches of accepting donations which were proceeds of corruption.
