A bus heading to Nairobi from Busia town has this mourning burst into flames after developing a mechanical hitch. It has been reported that the Guardian Angel bus that was ferrying 45 passengers to Nairobi from Busia got involved in an accident before bursting into flames. The Star reports that the bus burst into flames in the Buoye area on the Ahero-Kisumu road on Monday at around 5:45 am, a few minutes after it had left the town.

With zero casualities reported during the early monday morning incidence, it is alleged that the rear tire of the renowned Guardian Angel bus ferrying its passengers from Busia to Nairobi bursted mid-way at Ahero-Kisumu road causing fire that spread to the entire bus destroying it beyond recognition.
