Today the FORD Kenya party leader took his candidate's senatorial Campaigns in Kanduyi Constituency, the home Constituency of their Azimio's competitor Wafula Wamunyinyi.

Azimio La Umoja camp received a fresh blow after another principal lost his seat to the rival Kenya Kwanza. Wafula Wamunyinyi, leader of the DAP-K party, (A constituent party in the Azimio La Umoja) lost his Kanduyi parliamentary seat, which he had held for two terms in a row.

According to Mizani Africa opinion polls, Kanduyi Member of Parliament Athanus Wafula Wamunyinyi would lose his re-election bid in August 2022. According to polls done by the research firm and released on Friday on their social media platforms, Wamunyinyi would come in second with 33.5 percent, trailing only his strong competitor Alfred Khang'ati, who had 42.7 percent.
