President Uhuru Kenyatta has just made his way to Lamu where he is presiding over a very important event that brings together military officials from across the nation. The all-important event is part of his vast projects to try and bring peace to the country and also equip the military in their services.

The seven members of a Militia group that was hiding in a classroom in the Center Nord region have been neutralized by the security forces. Burkina Faso's defense had identified the Militia group as the one that attacked a police station on 21st June. The Air Force said an Afghan mother gave birth to a baby girl aboard a US Air Force C-17 on Saturday, shortly after the plane landed at Ramstein. A military chopper with passengers on board has crashed and burst into flames in Kajiado County on Thursday, June 24, leaving 10 soldiers dead and 13 others injured. According to a statement by the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) reported by Zipporah Kioko, the plane is an Mi 171e Air Force Helicopter and crashed at around 9 am.
