Dear Lord, I praise and exalt your Holy Name for the blessing of this new week. In Mt 8:5-11, a Roman Centurion approached you with faith, respect, and humility to heal his servant. Acknowledging his unworthiness, he only asked you to say the healing word upon his servant.
Recently I have been heartbroken at how shallow we have become as a society. People no longer want to reckon with life, they just want to record it for social media. When I give talks I have to start by wrestling with people to get their phones away and allow us to connect directly.

We are not broken, damaged, or inadequate. We simply may have some habit patterns which are consistent with the stories we have been telling ourselves about ourselves.
"Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy.
O Jesus Christ, I acknowledge you as universal King. All that has been made has been created for You. Exercise all Your rights over me. I renew my Baptismal Vows. I renounce Satan, his pomps, and his works; I promise to live as a good Christian.
Don't see every setback in your life as coming from the evil ones; sometimes, you are temporarily delayed to save you from being permanently delayed. Mr. Prince, if I had married her last Saturday, I would have married the RIGHT person at the WRONG time," said Dayo a few weeks ago. Again, I find this to be God's soothing voice calming all his pressured storms and reassuring him that He has his best interest at heart.
