
Detectives from ethics and anti Corruption commission have arrested a senior official from the county government of Tana River.
In a news report that has been shared by a reliable source of information, it has been revealed that the suspect, name withheld was arrested with Ksh. 2.69 million cash.
According to the reports given by the police, it has been revealed that the money was in dollars, the man had not revealed that he was going to travel with this money at the airport.
A Police report has revealed that the police arrested the suspect who is now being investigated for money laundering.
While reacting to his arrest, Kenyans who took to their different social media accounts to express their opinions on the matter have called upon the police to reveal why the man was arrested and whether or not it's illegal for one to walk with their money.
