Presence of many people from Pakistan and other Asian countries in Jomo Kenyatta international airport has raised eyebrows among kenyans over the last few days.
The Asians have been landing in the country and in large groups. They are then picked by local buses and taken to destinations like Kitengela and Athi river.
This is coming at a time when there is high tension in Afghanistan after the Taliban seized power from the government.
However kenyans should not panic anymore since the government spokesperson Cyrus Oguna has clarified that the Asians have valid papers and are in the country legally.
He further said that the Asians are international tourist most of them who are on their way to Saudi Arabia and Qatar to seek for employment.
It has been revealed that the Asians are opting to use the Kenyan route to the gulf since it is not costly compared to Dubai route.
