A Kenyan Businessman Buys Raila A Ksh 5K Aircrafts That Were Been Auctioned At Wilson Airport.

A Kenyan businessman from the Central part of Kenya known as David Njuguna has reportedly bought three planes from the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA). He has said that he is gifting one to Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Amollo Odinga for his campaigns, the second he will use it for personal use and the third one for business.

KAA had put on auction 73 abandoned planes. The aircraft were been given to interested individuals with a price of Kenyan shillings between 5000 to 1.6 millions. The agency had further set November 4 to 16 as the viewing dates. The auction is been run by Keysian Auctioneers Between date 17 to 22nd of this month.

This junk aeroplanes have remained uncollected at Wilson airport for a long period of time and that's the major reasons KAA decided to sell out to Kenyans.

Everyone has expressed mixes reactions. Some have congratulated David for gifting Raila this precious gift while others have said that the former prime minister should not board such junk aircrafts. The ODM leader is currently campaigning for the presidential seat which he is eying in the coming 2022 general election.
