Started as a residential town, Witeithie now boasts of being the most populated town in the region. With a huge population surpassing that of Thika CBD, the Thika road highway town is densely populated and keep on streching.
The town is home to Thousands of students from the neighboring Thika Istitute of business studies and some from as far as Juja JKUAT. It's proximity to the Thika industrial town makes make preffer it due to it's cheap houses.
Being in the Superhighway, many consider it a wonderful place to live as they enjoy the convenience of transport in and out of the estate. Public service vehicles charge passengers only Ksh 20 to and from Thika town making it the best destination for workers.
Being a neighbor to the coffee plantations and rural areas the place has cheap and fresh supply of farm produce hence making life cheaper.
