According to the reports given by these Kenyans, they have revealed that they are currently going through a lot due to the fact that they can’t get back into the country and at the same time, they have exhausted their income.
Due to this reason, they pleaded with president uhuru Kenyatta to open and lift the travel ban which was put in place to avoid the spread of the deadly covid variant in India from getting into the country.
However,Kenyans living in India claimed that now they were afraid of dying of hunger more than they were afraid of dying because of Covid 19,In their own words, they said that life is getting tough because life in India is becoming more and more expensive.
This is happening at the same time when the ministry of health in Kenya has urged Kenyans to stay safe after the deadly Indian covid Variant was detected in 2 counties, thus called for precautions.Their Cries has however sparked alot of reactions from Kenyans who seemed to have different opinions and suggestions on the matter and on what should be done to them.
With a section of Kenyans claiming that maybe the government should just allow the to come over, others went ahead and urged President Uhuru to think twice before reviewing his travel ban issue because in their own words, they said that maybe the ones wanting to come back might already have the deadly Variant Covid-19.
