Kenyan Flights To Dubai Remain Banned as Uganda Receives a Green Light

Kenyan flights were banned from operating in the busy route to Dubai because travellers from Nairobi carried negative result certificates but tasted positive upon arrival. The management claimed that they could be Forging the certificates.

The immediate neighbours, Uganda, has however been given a greenlight. Apart from Uganda, the countries whose passengers were allowed to fly to Dubai includes Ghana, Angola, Uganda, Guinea, and Cote d’Ivoire.

“With effect from January 13, Emirates will resume passenger services to and from Guinea (CKY), Cote d’Ivoire (ABJ), Ghana (ACC), Uganda (EBB) and Republic of Angola (Luanda),” reads a statement from the carrier’s website.

The ban was issued after passengers from the respective countries tested positive for COVID-19 after disembarking in UAE.
