Weston Hotel located along langata road has been a big of discussion in the recent past. In 2019 Deputy President William Ruto confirmed that he is the owner of the hotel Constructed on a disputed piece of land. The land allegedly belongs to the KCAA.
According to visitors rating on the hotel's website from those who have visited there, the hotel has 4 star rating on average. Despite the controversy surrounding it's existence the hotel enjoys a clientele list. It remains one of the best hotel in Nairobi City.
Staying at Weston Hotel doesn't come cheap either. The hotel has several rooms types a single bed costs Ksh 12,529 per night. That includes bed and breakfast for one person. There is free WiFi that is free available to all guests.
Yesterday news of it's demolition dominated major news outlets and social media after heavy machineries were sighted in the area. But upto now the hotel remains standing and it has been established that nothing of that sort was in the offing.
The hotel is situated in a very prime area and it is just a walk distance to Wilson Airport. Situated along Langata road where several office blocks are stationed, the hotel remains one of the most profitable And strategic ventures for the deputy President.
