Heavy rainfall is expected to continue over some areas of the Highlands East of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria region, and several parts of the Highlands West of the Rift Valley. These areas include:Kwale, Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, Mombasa, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, Kericho, Nakuru, Bometi, Kisumu, Migori, Homabay, Busia and Laikipia.
Accordingly, the Lake Victoria Basin region will be generally sunny and dry during the morning hours of the next five days. However, showers and thunderstorms are likely to occur during the afternoon hours.
Several parts of the country will see sunny intervals during morning hours, so sunny intervals are expected from the first to the last day of the weather forecast period in northern parts of the country.
Last but not least, the North Eastern parts of the country are expected to be mostly sunny and dry, though cloudy conditions are possible over a few places in the evening hours or at night.
