Kenya is a beautiful country that has attracted many tourists, local and foreign tourists. However Kenyans many Kenyans do not still do not know the hidden gems. Here are the best places to visit during this festive season.

1.Nairobi

Nairobi is the largest city in Kenya and it serves as the capital city of the country. The city has so many tourists places to visit. These includes, National museum, Uhuru Gardens, Ngong Hills, Blue Sky Tours in Diamond Plaza, Karura Forest, Mamba Village, KICC. Nairobi National Park, Bomas of Kenya and Kenya National Archives among others beautiful places within Nairobi county.

2. Samburu


It has a game reserve which is located on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro. Samburu county has two picturesque hills, that is, Ololokwe and Koigotor hills that have attracted tourist activities in the region.

River Ewaso Nyiro provides water that thrives variety of wildlife that have attracted tourists. Samburu county has a national reserve, Shaba National Reserve that consists of elephants, zebras, antelopes, lions, leopards, oryx, buffalos,monkeys and giraffes among others.

3.Mount Kenya

Mount Kenya National Park has many features which attracts tourists. These includes ice peaks that have attracted climbers and hikers.

4. Tsavo National Park

Tsavo National Park is a home of the prominent ‘Big Five' animals, namely, black rhino, lions, elephants, leopards and buffalos. The are also have beautiful features such as Yatta plateau,Lugard Falls, Mundana Rock and Aruba Dam.

5. Lake Nakuru

The lake is popularly known for its humongous variety of pink flamingos that throng on the lake every day. Besides the pink flamingos, Nakuru National Park has a rich wildlife diversity which includes warthogs, python, leopards, lions and white rhinos among others.

6. Buffalo Springs National Reserve

The national reserve is found in Isiolo County and it's known for its unique exotic flora and fauna such as rolling grasslands, lava terraces and stub brush.

It is also a home of rare species such as Somali ostriches, beisa oryx, Grevy's zebras, vulturine guinea fowls and reticulated giraffes.
