Despite Restrictions, Public Officials Spent $3 Billion on Trips Abroad Over Corona Season.

As shown in a report sighted by Nation, government officials spent $3 billion on foreign travel this budgetary year alone. Despite the fact that the Coronavirus disrupted international flights but several countries put limits, this is the situation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spent the greatest money on trips abroad, representing 40% of the total. The ministry spent a total of $1.21 billion.

Parliament was in the second position. This year, members of parliament invested Ksh 823 million on transportation. Ksh 432 mill was used by Parliamentary Service Commission.
