Kit mikayi,which is located of Kisumu Bondo road towards Bondo is one of the major tourists attraction sites in the Lake basin.Dunga beach on the outskirts of Kisumu city on the shores of Lake Victoria is also a key tourists site in the lake side.
How to get to Kisumu
There are different means such as,plane,train and by bus.Kisumu International Airport is served by daily flights from Nairobi.Kenya Airways has 5 daily flights to capital Nairobi.The flight lasts about 45 minutes and takes you above lakes Naivasha and Nakuru.As of 2018 all train service to Kisumu were suspended but in a few years it is expected that the SGR is to reach Kisumu and start operating.You can also get to Kisumu by bus.Ena coach,Modern coast,Mash poa and Tahmeed are some of the buses offering exemplary services to Kisumu.
