Wilson airport which is situated in Nairobi and the largest domestic airport in Kenya has been forved to reschedule their travelling or movement. According to the report by the Nation on their favebook page, they stated that the airport will be closed temporarily due to military even which is yet to take place close to the said airport.
According to the report by Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), the said airspace will face closure kn 28th July and on Friday. On the said days, the xlosure will begin as from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The temporary closure is expected to affect many flights more so the movement of tourists in the country. This is because most of the tourists in the country normally travel via flighys from the said airspace.
This indeed will be a great loss in the transportation sector as well as tourism sector.
