First ever Kenya Airways Plane from Dubai has today landed at the Moi International Airport in Mombasa. According to the information shared by the Kenya Airways, the flight was received by principal secretary State Department of Tourism John Ololtuaa and the Principal Secretary Culture and Heritage, Ummy Mohammed Bashir.

This follows yesterday's inaugural flight from Mombasa to Dubai, a event that was attended by high ranking government officials including Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Mombasa County Governor Abdulswaad Sheriff Nassir, CS Peninah Malonza among others.
The new route according to the information shared by the Kenya Airways is expected to boost the Kenyan coastal region tourism industry through direct access to and from the middle east.

The plane was received by pomp and colour at the Moi International Airport. Cultural dances from the Maasai community was also witnessed.
