Kenya has been working hard to improve the economic state that was extremely affected by the COVID pandemic. The annual percentage went down by a very large loss, since almost all the contributions were spent on the ministry of health trying to improve it's state and cater for needs of the thousands of patients. More funds were disbursed to the counties for purposes of purchasing medical equipments, something that limited economy's growth.
This issue led to increase of taxes with a target of recovering the lost percentage. All ministries targeted opted to increase prices for services offered especially in the transport sector as the fuel prices went up. Following this story of increased prices, a research conducted on this industry now reveals that Kenya airways is the most expensive airline in Africa. It's a company that's owned by the government and provides air transport services.
According to Nairobi gossip club, this report indicates that we've improved to worst since it's such a costly service that's now preventing citizens from travelling abroad. Kenyans also joined the talk by expressing their views about this declaration. Check out the following screenshots about their responses.
