Few days ago the government through president Uhuru Kenyatta lifted up nationwide curfew across all counties here in Kenya. The nation wide curfew was issued by the president here in Kenya since the day when covid 19 first case was reported in this country.
The curfew has been playing a significant role of controlling covid 19 in this country due to restrictions of people not to go beyond certain rules and regulations inorder to ensure for their safety.
Today the government through the CS for transport James Macharia has announced the resumption of night travel here in Kenya. Macharia has said, that directive will boost the economy of this country and will also enable different transport companies not to encounter loses in their activities.
Macharia has also urged Kenyans to observe Ministry of health protocols while traveling for example wearing of facemasks, sanitizing and washing hands using running water.
The CS has also urged all Kenyans especially those who have not yet vaccinated to embrace on covid 19 dose because that's the only option to conquer covid 19 in this country. We are also urging all Kenyans to sanitize, wear facemask, maintain social distance, wash hands with running water and be safe of covid 19.
